Green Dog Services was founded with a simple idea: that countryside businesses deserve a bookkeeper who actually understands their world.
Most bookkeepers serve every type of business — from coffee shops to IT companies. When you ring with a question about livery VAT, the tax treatment of a working gundog, or whether your fishing syndicate income is taxable, they have to look it up. We don’t.
We’ve built our entire practice around the equestrian, canine, and country sports sectors. We understand the seasonal cashflow patterns, the mixed personal and business use of animals and land, and the specific HMRC rules that apply to your business. We also hold Xero certification — so we know exactly how to configure Xero for your sector, not just how to use it generically.
Green Dog Services is based in Warwickshire and serves clients across the UK, fully remotely. Our clients range from sole-trader riding instructors and dog trainers to limited company shooting syndicates and rural leisure businesses.
